Looking for the best vegan restaurants in Manhattan? You’re in luck! I recently traveled to Manhattan, and I always do my research before and plan where I’m going to eat. So here in this blog post, I will list and share some of my favorite spots for you. 

Whether you’re looking for a casual fast-food meal or a gourmet experience, these restaurants have you covered. There are plenty of options to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that fits your taste buds.

1. NuLeaf $$

NuLeaf is a vegan restaurant in Manhattan that specializes in healthy and delicious plant-based cuisine. If you’re looking for a nice healthy meal, NuLeaf is the perfect spot for it. Their menu is 100% vegan and 100% delicious.

The menu features a variety of vegan favorites, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and bowls. NuLeaf also offers an extensive selection of juices, smoothies, and coffees. 

You will leave the place feeling satisfied and nourished. The only downside is that there are few places to sit but the prices and the tasty food make up for that.

2. P.S. Kitchen $$

P.S. Kitchen is a vegan restaurant in Manhattan that serves up some of the best plant-based dishes in the city and is open 7 days a week. The menu features a variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts that are sure to please vegans and non-vegans alike. 

Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, P.S. Kitchen has something for everyone. The atmosphere and the food here are incredible. Be sure to check it out.

3. HanGawi $$$

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked HanGawi Vegan Restaurant in Manhattan. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a vegan option in NYC. HanGawi is a great choice for both vegans and non-vegans alike. 

The menu offers a variety of Korean-inspired dishes, all of which are vegan. I ordered the bibimbap, which was delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. I would definitely order this dish again. Overall, I had a great experience at HanGawi Vegan Restaurant, and I will definitely be back.

4. Franchia Vegan Café $$$

Franchia, the casual sister restaurant to the famous Hangawi vegan restaurant, serves exquisite Asian fusion cuisine. There’s a contrast between the traditional Korean and modern features in the decor. The menu has a lot to offer. You can get anything from vegetable sushi, and Korean dumplings, to a variety of noodles, rice dishes, and main entrees.

Their desserts are delicious too! You can get a black sweet rice and coconut pudding, soy cheesecake, chocolate mocha cake, or a tiramisu. It can be hard to decide when you have so much to choose from.

5. Marty’s V Burger – Kips Bay $

Marty’s V Burger is a standard fast-food joint with the exception that it’s 100% vegan. You can get burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The burgers and other food are delicious. You also can’t beat the price. There’s not much room to eat inside but you can take your food and eat it at Madison Square Park which is only a few blocks away. They are open 7 days for pickup, takeout, & deliveries.

6. Planet Bake $$

Planet Bake is a newish bakery that started during the pandemic in 2020. You can get vegan, low-carb, and even sugar-free pastries here. The donuts and other pastries are pricier, but these are high-quality desserts. They are trying to educate people that you can be healthy if you have a sweet tooth too. Right now, Planet Bake does not have a physical location due to covid.

7. Seasoned Vegan $$

And last, but not least on the list of vegan restaurants in Manhattan is Seasoned Vegan. They offer a delicious and healthful alternative to today’s processed foods all around us. Everything on their menu is vegan, organic, and delicious. They make meat replacements from blends of soy, bean curd, tarot root, mushroom, yam, and vegetables. If you’re craving delicious vegan soul food, just go to Seasoned Vegan in Harlem.
